Analysis and recommendations of the management of the baseball club Kotlářka Praha

Title: The analysis and the recommendation for the management of baseball club Kotlářka Praha. Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the internal environment (the strengths and weaknesses) of the baseball club Kotlářka Praha and then compare it with competitor Draci Brno. The strengths and weaknesses of the Draci Brno baseball club are included as well. The comparison of these two leading baseball clubs will help us to find out which factors are behind the long-term and repeated success of the Draci Brno club, and whether these factors can be implemented to the conditions of the Kotlářka Praha club, whose main and long-term goal is success in the Czech Extraleague and quality youth work. Draci Brno dominates in both factors. Methods: The main source of information for analyzing the internal environment of both organizations were personal interviews and correspondence via e-mail with the leaders of both baseball clubs. An audio recorder was used to record conversations. To supplement the data, a study of publicly available documents from both organizations and the Czech Baseball Association was carried out.
